Need quality support, Quality systems, or Documentation help? Contact Sterling
Quality Support is intended for organizations that need experienced help with ongoing quality responsibilities but do not always need full-time internal resource for every challenge. Whether the team is managing customer issues, inspection demands, documentation updates, open corrective actions, or production-related quality concerns, outside support can help prevent important work from falling behind.
Sterling Foster Consulting works alongside engaged employees to provide practical, low-cost solutions and/or technical assistance that aligns with your Quality needs. This includes performance of Internal Audits, corrective actions, and quality planning tasks. Quality support also includes temporary workload relief, capital project implementations, Kaizen/Lean Six-sigma projects, and other needs that help improve execution, consistency, and growth.
Assistance with the Quality Manual, Procedures, Work Instructions, and/or Standard Work Documents. Creation and Revisions to ISO documents, QMS Document Control systems, and/or documentation libraries.
Help with inspection-related activities, Quality Planning activities, NPI, pFMEAs, PPAP, Control Plans, and Inspection Plans. Implement auditing, or CMMs on the floor, to reduce costs and improve QC flow.
Implementation of effective Corrective Actions (8D) working with Process Owners, hourly employes, and Leadership. Implement monitoring of KPIs for QMS processes, summarizing performance in effective management reviews.
Flexible support when internal quality resources are stretched, transitioning, or working through high demand periods and special projects. Rapid response to Inspection or sorting operational needs.
Sterling brings over 30 years of Quality Management experience as an ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor and IATF 16949:2016 Lead Auditor, with leadership experience across aerospace, automotive, medical device, manufacturing, warehouse, CNC machining, screw machining, and Electro-Mechanical Assemblyenvironments. This makes Quality Support especially valuable for organizations that need practical help grounded in real manufacturing operations.
The goal is to give your organization practical quality support where it is needed most, without adding unnecessary complexity. Support can be focused on daily quality activities, open action items, documentation improvement, inspection needs, or broader quality system tasks.
Sterling typically supports organizations through two practical stages:
Identify immediate quality support needs and workload pressures
Review open issues, documentation gaps, and process concerns
Clarify responsibilities, priorities, and expected deliverables
Focus support where it will create the most operational value
Assist with documentation, review, and quality coordination
Support issue tracking, follow-up, and corrective actions
Help maintain momentum on inspection and system-related tasks
Strengthen consistency and reduce risk across daily operations
These are some of the most common questions organizations ask about ongoing quality support.
